``A career in Hairdressing was all I ever wanted to do. After a very tough apprenticeship and building a large clientele - I then proceeded to open my own salon at the tender age of 21. In 1989, I first stepped on board the QE2 as a stylist where my time at sea began. Wearing many different hats and performing many different roles from Management to Artistic Director. I then travelled and worked with Spas on board, training staff in all aspects of Hair & Beauty - a career that spanned 13 years. During this time I was chosen to look after HM Queen’s hair, which I still have the honour to do to this day and have recently been granted the Royal Warrant Of Appointment for my years of service. Always looking for new challenges, I have built a vast portfolio
working on Fashion Shoots, Videos and TV work - Including the last two series of Ladette to Lady for ITV1.” - Ian Carmichael.
